ECB’s Knot expects reduction in bond buys with end in March: Bloomberg By Reuters

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – European Central Bank policymaker Klaas Knot said on Tuesday he expected the ECB to start reducing the pace of its emergency bond purchases at next week’s meeting, with a view to ending them in March.
“I would expect a decision that should not be incompatible” with ending the ECB’s Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme (PEPP) in March, Knot was quoted as saying by Bloomberg.
“That would imply a reduction in the purchase pace.”
